Shipping and Order Fulfillment:

When will my order ship?
Most orders ship within 1-3 weeks. Processing times can vary depending on the product, so please refer to the information listed on each product page or contact us for more specifics. Multiple items purchased in the same order typically ship together once all items have been prepared for shipping.

Can I ship on my UPS / FedEx account?
Shipping charges may be billed to your UPS or FedEx account - Please select "Ship On My Account" at checkout and provide your UPS or FedEx account number in the order notes box at checkout, along with any special instructions (e.g. insurance and signature requirement, service type). If you have any questions about shipping options please feel free to contact us before placing your order.

Where are items shipped from?
All items ship from our USA warehouse. We ship to all countries, but note that items shipped internationally may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are calculated at the country of destination and must be paid by the buyer before the item can be received. Please review your local import fee guidelines before purchase as we are unable to predict which of these fees, if any, may be applied.

Forged Carbon Fiber Fabric FAQ:

Does ForgeTEX® forged carbon fiber fabric stretch?
The non-woven fabric does not stretch. However, ForgeTEX® can be applied in section to cover complex shapes with joints blending into the pattern. ForgeTEX® rolls of one or more linear yards include blendable edges along the length to allow seaming for projects larger than 35 inches wide.

How thick is ForgeTEX® forged carbon fiber fabric?
As a general guideline, expect each layer of fabric to add a thickness of approximately 0.7 mm for ForgeTEX® Premium Bold® and 0.8 mm for ForgeTEX® Standard. Estimated thicknesses are based on averages and will vary throughout the material.

What's the difference between ForgeTEX® and R-Bond forged carbon fiber fabrics?
ForgeTEX® has a non-woven backing with a dissolving binder and provides the best permeability for resin. It should be handled minimally and gently to avoid excessive loss of the chopped fibers. This is our recommended material for molding applications.
R-Bond uses a non-dissolving binder layer on the back of the material. It provides easier handling but less permeability, and so can be more prone to dry spots. This is recommended primarily for skinning/wrapping applications or where more resilient handling properties are a priority.

What resin do you recommend?
We generally recommend using a clear/cosmetic grade, low viscosity epoxy resin, but our forged carbon fiber dry fabrics can be hardened using a variety of resins. Feel free to use your preferred brand and type. We always recommend performing your own tests to determine the best materials and process for your specific application.
